In a defensive struggle on Sunday, the Broncos clinched a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter scoring strike and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning decisive three-pointer to secure the ugly win.

Defensive Display Wins Game

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following conceding a safety in the third quarter. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 total net yards throughout the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a critical 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's short kick with just over five minutes left.

Record Difficulties for Jets Offense

In spite of their horrendous offensive display, the Jets still had the ball with a opportunity to score a potential winning score.
